TEENAGER singer Rhys Butterworth-Bowman has released a charity single to raise money for a cancer charity.
Rhys, 13, a pupil Stoke-by-Nayland Middle School, has released New Beginning to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Co-written by friend Tom Bowdidge, 20, from West Bergholt, who is battling a rare stomach cancer, the song raised has raised £1,000 in its first month.
Rhys’s mum Lisa said: “When Rhys heard of how Tom was raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, he wanted to get on board and not only help towards fundraising but at the same time raise awareness for teenage cancer.”
