A FAMILY will soon find out if anyone will be prosecuted after their son was found dead in a flat.
Tom Sadler-Smith, 26, was found in a property in St Andrew’s Avenue, Colchester, in July.
For months the cause of his death was not confirmed, with toxicology results delayed, but it has now been revealed the death was linked to illegal drugs.
A 28-year-old man from Colchester was arrested shortly after the body was found on suspicion of manslaughter and is still on police bail.
A spokesman for Essex Police said the file is now with the Crown Prosecution Service and a decision will be made on whether any charges are brought against any individual in the coming weeks.
