Two people were arrested on suspicion of murder after the man's body was found but they have been released without charge and police are no longer treating the incident as suspicious.
* Two armed robbers have been jailed after stealing more than £6,000 in a bank raid in Clacton.
George Commons, 48, of Linden Drive, Clacton, was jailed for eight years while DAvid Worth, 41, of Beach Road, St Osyth, was jailed for seven years.
* A pedestrian was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash in Jaywick.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
