RESIDENTS have voiced their anger at plans to abolish free parking in their village.
Colchester Council wants to charge motorists £4 to park for more than two hours in Mill Lane and Duck Pond.
A packed meeting of Dedham Parish Council at the Duchy Barn yesterday evening gave villagers and businesses the chance to give their views.
Terry Jeffrey, a local artist who runs Shakespeare House, said: “Why should we hit tourists? We need to encourage them."
