IDEAS for the future of Brightlingsea Harbour have been published.
Long-term plans to develop the privately-owned Oliver’s Wharf to create a dedicated marine service centre for commercial ships and leisure craft.
Smaller proposals include creating a beach or decked area at the front of the Colne Yacht Club, to boost spectator spots during events such as the Brightlingsea Regatta.
The ideas are in a strategic study set up by the Brightlingsea Harbour Commission, and the document is now out for public consultation.
- The strategy plan can be read online. To give feedback either call into the Brightlingsea Harbour Commission office on Waterside, call 01206 302200 or e-mail mail@brightlingseaharbour.org.
