FOUR people were rescued by a lifeboat crew during two incidents in half-an-hour.
The West Mersea RNLI lifeboat was first called out just before 5pm after a sailing dinghy engine failed and the boat went aground.
The crew helped rescue two people and took them to Bradwell Marina.
Shortly after the yacht Moonlight ran aground at Cocum Hills, East Mersea.
The crew were taken onboard the lifeboat and dropped off in West Mersea.
The yacht was later recovered by the owners.
Both incidents took place yesterday.
