A TEENAGER recovering from legal high addiction has started volunteering for the charity which helped her recover.

Milly, a 16-year-old Colchester college student, began taking the party drug mephedrone when the craze exploded among young people.

Now she is in recovery after being supported by the Children’s Society and Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service, where she volunteers.

She is part of the substance misuse forum which works with young people at the end of their treatment at EYPDAS.

She has also created a new phone App focused on mephedrone to raise awareness and spent a day with the Children's Scoiety to share her ideas.
