POLICE are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Colchester.
The man, aged about 60, was struck on the head, at about noon on Saturday, July 6.
Paramedics were called and he was taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
During the robbery, around the underpasses linking St Botolph’s Circus, two mobile phones and a bank card, worth a combined £185 were stolen.
Any witnesses call Colchester police on 101.
