In today's Gazette: Two teenagers are to appear in court accused of intimidating witnesses after the murder of Jay Whiston.
Jay, 17, was killed in Colchester and a 17-year-old boy has been accused of murder.
Now two teenagers Alan Loughlin, 18, of Titatnia Close, Colchester, and Keiran Marsh, 18, of Creffield Road, Colchester, has been charged with witness intimidation.
* A woman suffered serious injuries after leaping from a first floor window to escape a fire at her home in Castle Road, Clacton.
Police are now investigating the cause of the blaze which started in a bin.
* A postie who has spent more than half her life delivering letters and parcels in Elmstead Market is to retire.
Sandra Seaden has delivered some 3.5 million letters and walked and cycled a total of 24,000 miles in her 33 years as a postwoman.
* More than 20,000 people flocked to enjoy the Tendring Show.
