A GLAMOUR model has appeared on a television in her quest for romance.
Sophie Brown, 21, of Bardfield Road, West Mersea, was on Channel 4’s First Dates programme on Thursday evening.
The reality series films single people on blind dates at the Chop House restaurant in London.
Sophie, a former Thomas Lord Audley School pupil, made an impact with her entrance in towering black heels to meet date Saber, from Leeds.
Speaking afterwards, Sophie said: “I applied through my agency, Super Model. I have been single for two years and just thought why not?
“I thought it would be a good laugh.”
Sophie, who has appeared in Zoo magazine, the Daily Sport, Mayfair magazine, on various websites and on television’s Babestation, models full-time.
She and Saber exchanged numbers at the end of their meal.
Sophie added: “We have been texting and doing a bit of flirting and we are going to meet up again when he is in London this week.”
Sophie started modelling aged 15 and also studied performing arts at Colchester Institute.
