YOUNG entrepreneurs at a school ran their own school fete.
Pupils from Copford CofE Primary School took part in an Enterprise Fair in place of the usual summer event.
Each class was given £30 by the Parent Teacher Association to invest in a small business venture of their choice, to create a product to sell and make an income for the school.
Youngsters sold a range of products from decorated flower pots and jam jars, to Japanese curry and cupcakes, as well as designing adverts and posters to promote the event and drawing up business plans.
- The event raised a total of £2,440, of which £1,000 came solely from the children's stalls.
