THE chief constable of Essex Police will face your questions at new public meetings.
Police and Crime Commissioner Nick Alston has unveiled plans to scrutinise head of the force Stephen Kavanagh.
Under the Essex Police Challenge Mr Alston will put the three best questions submitted by residents to Mr Kavanagh at a public event four times a year at venues across the county.
The first event, looking at road safety, crime trends and efficiency, will be at Chelmsford City Council chamber, Duke Street, from 10am to 11.30am on Monday August 5.
- If you have a question for the chief constable you can e-mail it to EssexPoliceChallenge@essex.pnn.police.uk or write to the Police and Crime Commissioner’s office, marking the envelope “Essex Police Challenge” and send it to: PCC for Essex, 3 Hoffmanns Way, Chelmsford, CM1 1GU.
