A junior school has been seriously criticised in a damning Ofsted report.
Monkwick Junior School in Colchester has been categorised as inadequate by Ofsted inspectors.
However, the rating has been challenged by the school’s head who claims the report is inaccurate and based on out-of-date information.
The school was rated to be inadequate in all four areas - achievement of pupils, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety of pupils and leadership and management.
