LIFEBOAT crews were called to recover a woman after her dinghy became dismasted on Friday.
Thames Coastguard received a 999 call from the Steeple Bay holiday park and West Mersea RNLI and South Woodham Coastguard were sent to assess at around 9.20am.
The inshore lifeboat recovered the casualty to the shore.
The woman did not need any medical attention and the lifeboat then recovered the dinghy.
