THE A120 near Colchester has reopened in both directions following a vehicle fire.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 8.20am this morning after a fire involving a HGV and a combine harvester.
The incident happened on the Westbound carriage way between A12 and A133.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire by 9.04am.
They remained at the scene for a further 30 minutes.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency said: “There is a full closure in both directions whilst work is carried out to repair and resurface the damaged part of the road.”
