A CHARITY fundraising group is holding a fun day in Colchester.
Friends Steve Mycroft and Mark Naylor, of Colchester, have set up the Grapes Charity fundraising team to raise funds for charities which help local people.
This year’s fundraiser, their first, will be to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Mr Mycroft said the cause was close to his heart after a family member was diagnosed with the illness.
The pair will be holding a fun day at the Grapes pub, in Mersea Road.
As well as having a barbecue, bouncy castle and disco, the team will be holding a raffle.
The main prize will be a shirt signed by all the current major dart players.
Members of the team will also be taking part in challenges, with one having a tattoo.
People who attend the fun day will choose where it will go on his body and what emblem he will have.
The fun day is on August 3 from 11.30am.
