Disco-mad Dee Bovingdon is having the time of her life after being crowned the UK's dancing queen.
Dee and dance partner, Aaron Harknett, scooped the national freestyle title at Blackpool's famous Winter Gardens Express Ballroom.
They wowed the judges with a dazzling display to take first prize in the competition.
Aaron and Dee, of Greenstead, Colchester, were stunned when they realised they'd clinched the title.
"To win in our first Blackpool finals is just unbelievable," said a delighted Dee, 27, of Forest Road.
There was more joy for their army of fans the next day. Somehow a shattered Dee found the energy to step up the pressure again and beat the defending champion to the top spot in the solo section.
