A NEW notice board has been installed in St John’s for groups to display community news.
The board, which was paid for out of the St John’s Jubilee Fund, which each ward in Colchester borough was given last year, was unveiled by Paul Smith, borough councillor for St John’s, and Paula Baker, who runs nature group Growing in St John’s.
It is situated off St John's Close.
Mr Smith said: “This is an important asset for the community and both myself and Ray Gamble were glad to be able to provide it from our Jubilee Fund.”
The board will be used by the ward councillors, Growing in St John’s and the St John’s Residents’ Association.
