A LANGUAGE course at Essex University has won a prestigious award.
Languages for All offers all students the chance to study a language for free alongside but separate to their main course.
Run by the Essex Language Centre the project has won the European Language Label 2013 for being innovative.
The scheme was piloted in the last academic year and 600 students took part.
Alex Burdumy, Languages for All co-ordinator said: “We are delighted to have won this award.”
- The award will be presented to the university team at a ceremony at the EU Commission Office in London on Thursday September 26.
