BLOOMING Colchester is getting ready to welcome judges of a prestigious competition.
The Colchester in Bloom team won a gold medal in the Anglia in Bloom contest last year.
And, along with Halstead, the town was one of 77 communities, picked from nearly 1,000, to participate in the RHS Britain in Bloom UK finals.
Volunteers have been digging deep to spruce up the town and will receive the judges next Wednesday morning.
