Hundreds of people had the chance to explore Castle Park in Colchester during an open day.

More than 840 were invited to tour of the site, watch demonstrations of how it is maintained and enter competitions.

Andrew Fulcher, contacts manager at the company, said: “The day was a great success and a fantastic opportunity for our neighbours and local residents to come and explore what happens in the park.

“We hope those that joined us on the day gained a real insight into how we are working behind the scenes to keep this unique park looking so green and such a wonderful asset for the community.”
