NEW advice for dementia sufferers in the East of England has been published.
The Alzheimer’s Society has today released its comprehensive Dementia Guide after the number of patients with the disease who are yet to be diagnosed in the region hit 20,000.
Paul Dunnery, Alzheimer’s Society in East Anglia manager, said: “When people are diagnosed with dementia, they are often unsure what to do and where to turn.
“For the first time, this guide brings together the key information that people need.
“We are hoping that it will encourage more of the 20,000 people in East Anglia who are living with undiagnosed dementia to seek help.”
To order the guide, go to alzheimers.org.uk/dementiaguide or call 0300 3035933.
