COLCHESTER’S bomb disposal team were called to help out across the border after a suspected bomb was found in a drainage ditch.
The Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit from the town joined Aldeburgh Coastguard in Suffolk and inspected the suspect device.
However it was not dangerous and was disposed of by Suffolk Coastal Council.
