A GREEN Flag was hoisted at Mersea’s country park yesterday.
Cudmore Grove, in East Mersea, was awarded the title earlier in the week to mark its quality and cleanliness.
County councillor John Jowers, responsible for communities at the authority and Mersea representative, raised the flag along with site manager Dougal Urquhart in bright sunshine.
