A SUPPORT scheme for disadvantaged youngsters wanting to study law has begun at Essex University.
The Pathways to Law programme, run by the Sutton Trust, offers state school sixth form students help developing skills and access higher education.
At Essex the scheme will include six sessions over two years covering topics such as applying, aspects of the law and work experience.
There will also be introduction events at schools mentoring students and aimed at parents, while Essex University will uniquely include an introduction to forensic science and human rights law.
