A BUILDING society which closed its doors on Wednesday is already on the market - for just £85,000.
Nationwide closed its Brightlingsea branch saying it was no longer viable to keep it open.
The move prompted an unsuccessful campaign and petition from residents keen to keep the branch, and MP Bernard Jenkin also wrote to bank directors calling for the decision to be reversed.
The High Street shop front and office is now for sale and is being markets by Lambert Smith Hampton with a guide price of £85,000.
