SUPERMARKET staff are promoting an anti-knife campaign.
Sainsbury’s Tollgate is inviting shoppers to find out more and support Only Cowards Carry.
The campaign has been set up Caroline Shearer, the mother of murdered teenager Jay Whiston, who was fatally stabbed in Colchester last year.
Barclays bank staff also joined in at the event yesterday, organised by Business in the Community connector Lian Meachen.
Only Cowards Carry, supported by the Gazette’s Lives not Knives campaign, are in the store, on Western Approach, across the weekend.
