YOUNGSTERS have been learning the art of acting during their summer holidays.
Paula Baker, who runs Footprints Theatre Company CIC, has been running the drama classes this week in St Martin's Church, West Stockwell Street, Colchester.
Miss Baker said each day the students, aged between 13 and 16, are given a different challenge to come up with a storyline and the end of the week, they will perform a play for an audience.
“In these sorts of things, the students are a joy to work with,” she said.
“It’s great they want to develop some of these skills over their holidays and I just love being here and working with them.”
She added: “They have done all the work, I’ve just given them a structure and they’ve been so keen to get to work.”
