A group of women dressed in red white and blue to take part in a charity walk.

About 50 ladies from Gymophics gym in Haven Road walked the Wivenhoe Trail on Friday to raise money for Autism Anglia.

Katie Scott, one of the gym instructors, said: “It was great. Everyone was in good spirits.

“The atmosphere was good although it was quite muggy.

“We’re talking about doing it every year.”

Walkers had to pay a donation to take part into the event and staff at the gym have had a collection tin on their counter.

They are yet to count up now much cash they raised on the day.
