NEW figures reveal Colchester’s property market is booming.
The borough saw the highest number of house sales in Essex during the last financial year.
Almost 3,000 homes were bought and sold according to data published by the Taxpayers’ Alliance proving the town has a buoyant housing market.
Analysis of the figures also show 81 per cent of the homes sold cost less than £250,000 suggesting the small, start-up homes make up a large proportion of the market.
