Pensioners were today left counting the cost after vandals went on the rampage.
Vandals attacked more than a dozen vehicles in their wrecking spree, including slashing the tyres on the mobility scooter of a 92-year-old man.
Yobs slashed all four tyres of the scooter, which had been parked in the side passageway of a house near Edenside, Kirby Cross.
The attacks come just one week after nine vehicles were vandalised.
This time, the vandals targeted cars mostly in The Hawthorns, an area which has many elderly residents.
A spokesman for Walton police station said: "For the second weekend in a row we have had a spate of incidents in the Kirby Cross area.
"This time it has been The Hawthorns area which has been targeted. The road has a large population of elderly residents and these attacks have left them upset."
