A NHS worker has been cleared of making a racist comment to a police officer at Colchester General Hospital.
Zion Young, 39, of Britten Close, Colchester, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday) charged with telling a police officer to “get your dirty white hands off me”.
Mr Young, who maintains the floors at the hospital, was found not guilty of the offence.
