A COLCHESTER college has been praised for how it teaches its 1,300 degree students.
Colchester Institute received a commendation from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education for how it prepares it students for employment.
The agency also said the college, which has campuses in Sheepen Road, Colchester, as well as Braintree and Clacton, provides quality support for students with a disability.
Ian Davis, higher education operations manager at the college, said: "We are delighted to get this commendation which is the highest grade that can be awarded by the agency.
βTo receive official recognition that our students receive the best quality learning opportunities validates what we have always believed.β
