RESIDENTS can expect a better police service after changes were made to the force, according to the chief constable.
In March 2012 the Essex Police blueprint was implemented with major changes to policing.
Some of it worked and some didn’t with Mr Stephen Kavanagh paying tribute to the bravery of those who realised and rectified problems at the start of this year.
He said: “We are now seeing some of the benefits from the changes.
“Officers are calling for better information at the earliest opportunity and their job is do the best with what they have got.”
