POLICE raided a number of homes during a cannabis crackdown in Colchester.
Codenamed Operation Clover Leaf detectives are trying to stop the supply on the streets.
A home in Blackberry Road, Stanway, was raided on Thursday.
24-year-old Luke Martin has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug and bailed to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court later this month.
A 46-year-old couple were arrested after a raid at their home in Smythies Avenue, Colchester, on Wednesday.
30 cannabis plants were recovered and destroyed.
The couple from Corringham were arrested on suspicion of cultivation.
And a raid was carried out in Crowhurst Road on July 19.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a quantity of class A drugs were discovered.
Essex Police warned those growing or supplying drugs they will act on information and work to cut down on the illegal drugs trade in the town.
