A TEENAGE girl from Clacton has admitted trying to disrupt a murder investigation.
The 16-year-old, who has not been named, admitted witness intimidation during the investigation into the murder of Jay Whiston.
Jay was stabbed repeatedly at a house party on Marlowe Way shortly after 10pm on Saturday, September 8 last year.
The 17-year-old from Aster Close died a short time later in hospital from a stab wound to the heart.
The 16-year-old is the first person convicted in connection with the murder.
She has been cautioned for her crime.
