A SOLAR farm the size of 57 football pitches could be built at Boxted Airfield.
Push Energy wants to build the farm in Langham to power 3,733 local homes. Push Energy has called a public meeting to discuss its plans with residents and councillors before submitting a planning application later this year.
Stuart Bradshaw, chief executive at Push Energy, said: “We look forward to working with the local community and are keen to hear people’s views.
“We believe it is important to develop a solar project that Langham can be proud of and we’re committed to working with the local community, and to raising awareness of solar technology and its benefits.”
The exhibition will be held on Wednesday, August 14th from 6.00pm to 8:00pm at Langham Community Centre, School Road, Langham.
