A COLCHESTER solicitor has helped raise more than £1,500 for charity after climbing the highest mountains in Great Britain within 24 hours.
Iain Thom took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge last weekend to raise money for the Woolverstone Wish Appeal.
The charity appeal is fundraising to refurbish the chemotherapy outpatient clinics and day unit in the Woolverstone Wing of Ipswich Hospital.
The dad-of-three, 52, who grew up in Lexden, but now lives in Ipswich, joined colleagues Alicia Wiles and Sharon Wragg, who also work at Kerseys Solicitors, in Ipswich, on the challenge.
