CHILDREN will be helping to boost the coffers of a charity appeal.
The youngsters from Lexden Springs Special School will be at Colchester United on Good Friday to collect money for the 100,000 Smiles appeal.
The appeal, supported by the Gazette, aims to raise £100,000 to pay for a playground to be built at the school which can be used by the disabled students.
The Us have agreed for the appeal to be one of the club's charity partners for the year.
