Flat fire in Colchester town centre
A FLAT caught fire in Colchester town centre in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews from Colchester were called to a ground floor flat in Maidenburgh Street just after 2am.
They spent 25 minutes putting out the flames and then had to clear the flat of smoke.
