MORE than 150 homeowners have been told to pay £1,200 for repairs to leaky roofs on their flagship development.
An investigation has found it will cost £1.3million to fix 14 blocks of flats and houses in Colchester’s Hythe.
Residents have been sent invoices for the insurance excess.
Weston Homes, which built the development in Caelum Drive seven years ago, says it has found no evidence of defects but will review an inspection report.
