Children’s author Michael Rosen joined 1,438 children in Charter Hall, Colchester, to break the world record for the biggest reading lesson.
The event, which marked the 25th anniversary of children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, was streamed live and more than 30,000 children in schools and libraries across the UK took part – meaning their world record bid was successful.
