Women ran, jogged and walked through Castle Park as they joined together in a bid to beat cancer.
The annual Colchester Race for Life took place on Sunday, with 2,500 people, many dressed in pink, completing the 5km course.
Organisers hope the women will raise £145,000 for Cancer Research UK by getting sponsored to take part.
