More than 400 people gathered on the playing fields at Prettygate infant and junior school on Sunday for the culmination of the Love Prettygate initiative.
Artists, buskers, drummers and other musicians gather together to celebrate all that is good about Colchester's Prettygate ward.
The day included a church service, performances from buskers iDrum, jazz music, circus skills workshop, craft activities and a free barbecue.
Awards were given out for the Love Prettygate art competition that has been running for the last six months and which saw over 150 entries.
The event was put on by local churches in Prettygate to bless the community and encourage neighbours to come out and get to know each other.
