A SUPERMARKET in Tiptree has applied to extend the hours it can take deliveries.

Tesco, in Church Road, has asked Colchester Council for permission for drop offs to take place between 5am and midnight every day.

At the moment a restriction of 7am to 11pm is in place.

The application claims staff need more time to get goods from the warehouse area and into the shop floor before the store opens.
