Community spirit was the order of the day as volunteers from a restaurant chain helped collect more than 50 bags of rubbish.
Staff from McDonalds restaurants in Colchester took part in a litter pick as part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.
Along with local cub and beaver groups, 40 members of staff collected rubbish from the Cowdray Avenue area.
