A MAN has been re-arrested by police investigating the murder of Jim Attfield.
The 18-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of murder last night in Southend and is this morning being questioned by detectives.
Jim was found seriously injured with 102 stab wounds on a pathway linking Castle Park and East Hill in Colchester shortly before 6am on Saturday, March 29,
He was one of seven arrested in a series of raids last Thursday. The other six are on police bail until September 24. Two further men, aged 33 and of no fixed address, are also on police bail until late next month after being arrested in connection with the murder.
