FOUR people arrested by police in connection with James Attfield's murder have had their bail extended by eight weeks.

Mr Attfield, 33 of East Bay was found on a path near Castle Park with 102 stab wounds early on Saturday, March 29.

A Colchester man, 31, arrested on Thursday, August 7 has been given police bail until Tuesday, November 18 while investigations continue.

A man, 57, a woman 27 and a second man, 27, have been told to report back to police the following day.

Five further people arrested and question in relation to the enquiry will answer police bail next month.
