A MAN tackled a burglar after returning home to find two men inside his house.
The aggravated burglary happened on Friday at a house in Harwich Road, Ardleigh.
Two men entered the house between 9.45pm and 10.15pm while the owner was out.
When the man, aged in his 40s, returned home, he tackled one of the suspects and is believed to have injured him causing swelling to his face and a bloodied nose.
Both suspects are described as black and aged 25 to 30.
One was 5ft 11ins tall and of skinny build, the other 5ft 6ins and of stocky build.
The home owner suffered a cut hand and some bruising to his ribs.
The suspects fled the property empty-handed.
