YOU could not get a better service in Harley Street.
That is the view of prostate cancer patient John Davey who was underwent sugery at Colchester General Hospital.
Retired bus driver and handyman Mr Davey was diagnosed with prostate cancer four years ago.
He said: “I was kept under observation and had blood tests every three months.
"When it got to a certain level I had the prostate removed.
"I still go for check ups every three months but it has been OK.
"The care I received from John Corr and his team during the operation was exceptional, they were truly magnificent.
"You could not wish for better treatment than I received from Mr Corr and his team of specialists.
"If you paid top dollar in Harley Street you would not get better."
Mr Davey, 66, of Copper Beeches, Stanway, added: "If there was just one surgery centre per million people, think of the strain on the surgeons and their support staff and on the hospital.
"It is a busy clinic in Colchester already."
